Stefan Lindfors Light Works: June 21 - July 8, 2011
We are pleased to present an exhibition by the multi-talented, Finnish-born artist and designer, Stefan Lindfors. The show, which will be on view at Material ConneXion’s New York City headquarters at 60 Madison Avenue from June 21 - July 8, 2011, will feature an installation of Lindfors's internationally-acclaimed Light Works. Lucite's 75th Anniversary Exhibition: May 10 - June 10, 2011
Lucite will showcase the winning prototypes from its Carry Me! handbag design competition along with a rare collection of vintage handbags that inspired the competition. The exhibit will also include a series of current product applications, which demonstrate the versatility of Lucite® and its use in a wide range of industries—from architecture and furnishings to industrial design and retail merchandising. Lualdi Collection Preview: October 6-November 19, 2010
Lualdi, a leading manufacturer of high-quality doors, interior furnishings and modular systems, will preview its new collection of doors by designers Dror Benshetrit, David Rockwell and Robert A.M. Stern at Material ConneXion this fall.
Sidewalk Catwalk: March 31-April 30, 2010
30 mannequins creatively styled by America's top designers and decked out in materials sourced from Material ConneXion will line the plazas of Broadway this summer as part of a public art installation organized by The Fashion Center. While you'll have to wait until June to see outfits by the likes of Hilfiger, Mizrahi, and von Furstenburg, you can preview the high-strength textiles that Material ConneXion has selected for this project in an exhibition on view in our showroom. Bits 'n Pieces: November 4-December 4, 2009
Opening on November 4, the interactive, traveling exhibition Bits 'n Pieces examines the rapidly advancing technologies and new materials transforming design in a post-digital age. Curated by Dutch and Belgian designers and featuring work by Doug Bucci, Edhv, Jan Habraken, Joris Laarman, Thomas Lommee, MakerBot, Alissia Melka-Teichroew, Lucas Maassen, THEVERYMANY, and Unfold.

Neal Small: A Retrospective: April 1 -June 12, 2009
Renowned for his pioneering use of materials such as Plexiglas and Lucite to create furniture, lighting, home accessories and even sculpture, Neal Small transformed a largely unexplored, industrial material into imaginative products that inspired a generation of home furnishings. Wood plastic composites, rice-hull clays and insulation made from cellulose are just a few of the sustainable materials featured in this exhibition organized by Material ConneXion Bangkok. Instincts: May 14 - June 15, 2008
