January/February 2010 Concrete Canvas - makers of our 2009 MEDIUM Award for Material of the Year winner Concrete Cloth - recently caught the eye of I.D. magazine, which featured the company's concrete shelters as one of its "40 Transformative Design Projects."  Says Concrete Canvas co-founder Peter Brewin on their Material of the Year win, "It's a huge help.  That's the kind of validation that helps us get our product out there so we can lower production costs...[to] make it more affordable to NGO's."
