Our Library houses a select collection of new and highly innovative materials and processes sourced from all over the world from various industries. The collection compiles a hybrid of unconventional material types that are not typically found in design. The library includes physical samples of more than 3,500 materials and processes with some 3,000 variations

Material ConneXion Gallery

Our unique Gallery Space, open to the public, is an inspirational source for all design professionals. Quarterly exhibits explore important and influential developments of new materials as well as their potential applications.

Product Innovation Gallery

Our product innovation gallery is an ever-changing display illustrating how innovative materials have been adapted to create new products.

Featured Material Developer Program

Conference Room

Innovative materials and design enhance the comfort, usability and atmosphere of our conference room. We receive many comments about the attractive "Arctic Camouflage" curtain by DesignTex (USA). Actually created as camouflage, this cut and laminated PVC sheet now just attractively hides our supplies. The walls are by Smartwalls (USA); the table, which has integrated plugs, is by Mabeg (Germany).

Magazine Area

Over a hundred magazines line the walls of our tabluae library. This complementary resource allows browsers to reference current design and cutting-edge technology in the same space.

New Arrivals Wall

After being admitted by a jury session, new library acquisitions are mounted on our new arrivals wall, located at the back of our gallery space. It should be your first stop for inspiration.

Book Store

We have the most useful and up-to-date books about the world of materials and related topics. Discounts are available for MC members.
