Dr. Andrew Dent, Executive Vice President of Research at Material ConneXion, was recently featured on the "Material Is Your Business" podcast. Dent describes how Material ConneXion helps clients create better products by introducing them to new and interesting materials, and sparking innovation and inspiration. He also delves into the four tenets for innovation to be accepted into the library, artificial spider silk, and making fabrics out of milk.

As a result, larger apparel brands such as H&M and The North Face are working to help minimize textile waste through take-back programs and collections made from recycled fabrics while startups and even the European Union are creating circular processes and economic models.
